Letters to Love: Time and Band Aids

Which helps heal first? Time or Band-Aids?

I got a cut on my finger. I was told that a band aid could help in healing it. My heart was hurt by someone. I was told that time would heal my wounds. But both those statements were proven wrong! Neither did the band aid help with the cut nor time with the hurt.

Letters to Love: Ego or Let Go?

Would you choose to keep your ego or let it go?

So the other day, I was watching a movie with three female protagonists. All three with completely different temperaments. The first one was the "innocent" type, the second was the "practical yet very flexible" kind and lastly the third was "stubborn, fierce and independent" type. As the story progressed, all three were subjected to similar situations and all three dealt with them in their own ways.

Letters to Love: Love or Mere Responsibility

When does love turn into mere obligation and responsibility?

The feeling of love often begins with butterflies in the stomach and an excitement that knows no bounds. It makes us lose sleep and it feels like the whole world is our oyster! Love gives off a lot of energy when it starts. But later, as time passes, it feels the opposite way. All the strength and courage evaporates in thin air.

The city that saw the start of our love also witnessed its end. Every memory made, every place visited together became a feeling of burden. Something that weighed down on me with every breath. It's weird when I think about it now. Sometimes I feel like it was love, sometimes I doubt it.

Letters to Love: What Happens After The Last Chapter?

Hola cupcakes,

So we have all read story books and novels. Some have a happy ending, while others leave us with bad taste in mouth. Today I would like to draw an analogy between real-life endings and not-so-real life endings.

Letters to Love: Try

As days pass by,
joy and pain collide.
Like clouds passing on a blue sky,
you witness the smiles & the tears you cried.

Letters to Love: Memories

As I was preparing to wash my dishes after breakfast today, I realized that I didn't want to! Not because I was lazy, but because I didn't want to remove the traces of a beautiful and happy moment. But thanks to technology, I guess I can save that memory without having to keep the dishes gross and dirty!

Choco Chip and Apple Tart

Dreamy eyes as I watch you smile
Didn't realize all this while
How sweet you taste to my heart
Like a choco dip and an apple tart

Give me sunshine everyday
I'll love you in every way
We'll take the love and care
And everything we'll share
